After undergoing the Opening of the Mouth ceremony performed by Anubis on your mummy, you embark on your afterlife journey protected by the Eye of Horus (Wadjet). Your goal is to navigate through the underworld realm of Osiris, facing an invisible adversary within an ancient Egyptian hidden tomb in the Valley of the Queens. This sacred location is situated near the renowned Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile River, across from Thebes (Luxor).

Senet is a board game that originated in predynastic and ancient Egypt. It is recognized as the earliest known record of games like backgammon, checkers, and chess. The oldest hieroglyph representing a Senet game dates back to around 3500 BC, and in Egyptian, the game was known as "The game of passing".

This ancient game has a long history, believed to have been enjoyed by both royalty and peasants around 3500 to 5000 years ago. Over time, Senet evolved into a religious ritual, with depictions showing the game being played by a deceased player competing against their own soul or an invisible adversary, symbolizing the journey through the afterlife.

The Senet board serves as a metaphor for the afterlife, with pawns moving across the board representing the soul's journey through layers of the netherworld. The objective is to reach the final space and leave the board, much like the Egyptians sought rebirth with gods such as Isis & Osiris, Sekhmet & Bastet, holding the Egyptian Ankh or the papyrus scepter.

The game board consists of 30 squares or slots arranged in three horizontal rows of 10. Pawns move from left to right along row 1, then drop down and move from right to left along row 2. Dropping down again, pawns move from left to right along row 3 and eventually leave the board. The game follows the rules of Timothy Kendall's "Passing Through the Netherworld: The Meaning and Play of Senet," an ancient Egyptian funerary game.

The game features five special squares, each with its own rules and containing a hieroglyphic symbol. Square 15 is the House of Rebirth, Square 26 is the House of Beauty, Square 27 is the House of Water, Square 28 is the House of the 3 Truths, Square 29 is the House of 2 Truths, and Square 30, the final square, is the House of Horus, representing the Egyptian falcon-god and lord of the sky.

Egyptian Senet is a pharaonic challenging game that combines luck, strategy, and magical elements. It features authentic photos of ancient Egyptian temples and artistically crafted graphics and animations of an ancient stone game board and pieces set in a tomb-like chamber. Ritualistic music and sound effects of moving stone pieces recreate the atmosphere of predynastic Egypt. The app's icon showcases Egyptian Queen Nefertari playing Senet in her tomb, along with other prominent Egyptian queens, such as Cleopatra, Nefertiti, and Queen Hatshepsut.

This game is recommended for anyone interested in Egyptology, Archeology, and Mummification.
